Founded in 2019, Maison Cuir was born from a simple belief: that the things we carry should be as thoughtfully made as the lives we lead. In a world of disposable fashion, we chose to create bags that last a lifetime — and grow more beautiful with every passing year.

Our small atelier brings together a team of 12 master leather artisans, each with over 15 years of experience in traditional leatherworking. We source only the finest full-grain leather from ethical tanneries, and every piece is crafted entirely by hand.

Our Philosophy

We believe in slow craftsmanship. Each bag takes over 40 hours to complete, from initial cutting to the final polish. We don't believe in rushing perfection. Every stitch, every edge, every detail receives the same meticulous attention.

Our commitment extends beyond craft to sustainability. We use vegetable-tanned leathers, avoid harmful chemicals, and ensure fair working conditions for every person in our supply chain.

Our Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of every Maison Cuir product. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward return and refund policy.

Returns

You may return any non-customized item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be:

• In their original condition, unused and undamaged
• In original packaging with all tags attached
• Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase

Refund Process

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

Please allow an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Custom Orders

Due to the personalized nature of custom orders, we are unable to accept returns on customized items unless there is a manufacturing defect. If you receive a defective custom item, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Exchanges

We are happy to exchange items for a different color or size, subject to availability. Please contact our support team to arrange an exchange.

Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect or an error on our part. In such cases, we will provide a prepaid return label.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at support@maisoncuir.com with photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

Lifetime Warranty

All Maison Cuir bags come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. This covers issues with stitching, hardware, and structural integrity under normal use. Normal wear and tear, scratches, and patina development are not covered as these are natural characteristics of genuine leather.
